SommCon in Washington, D.C. in July

A leading conference for wine and beverage professionals, SommCon invites qualified individuals to submit applications to present for the 2018 educational programs. At the three-day annual conferences, held in San Diego and Washington D.C., attendees from all over the world will share diverse areas of expertise during seminars, tasting breaks and networking time.

SommCon launched in San Diego in 2015. This year marks the first SommCon in Washington. The conference offers 50 speakers and 500 wines to be tasted, plus education for Master Sommeliers, Masters of Wine, Sommeliers, Sommelier candidates, WSET Certificate holders / candidates, Certified Specialists of Wine, Certified Wine Educators, Certified Specialists of Spirits, beverage directors, wine and spirit educators, educational institutions, wine sales professionals, winemakers, winery staff, front-of-house restaurant staff, chefs, wine and spirit retailers, wine writers and journalists and serious wine enthusiasts.

Speakers receive a full conference pass and have opportunities to network with top industry contacts at all levels.

Application deadline is Jan. 19 for the Washington D.C. event at Westin Georgetown, July 22-24. The San Diego event will be Nov. 14-16. Apply by clicking here.
